About the event
The Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Train the Trainer Course is an intensive and specialized program designed to equip mental health professionals, law enforcement officers, and other key stakeholders with the necessary knowledge and skills to train others in crisis intervention techniques. The primary aim of this course is to establish a network of certified trainers who can then disseminate these vital skills throughout their respective organizations and communities.
Upon successful completion of the CIT Train the Trainer Course, participants become are equipped to conduct CIT training sessions for their peers and colleagues. This training cascade creates a robust and sustainable network of crisis intervention experts, enhancing overall crisis response capabilities within organizations and communities.
